A Japanese manufacturer based in Amstelveen has an exciting opportunity for a Service Engineer to join their international office.
A Service Engineer will act as the first point of contact for aftersales topics for their customers. Whether the customer is facing a technical issue, requires training, or wants to upgrade their system, they will reach out to you.
TYPE: Full-time role, initially 1 year contract (potential to become permanent)
WORKING HOURS: 40 hours per week
SALARY: €55k including holiday allowance + Business Trip Allowance
START: ASAP
LOCATION: Amstelveen, The Netherlands (Business Trips: 3-5 times a month within Europe)

Service Engineer Responsibilities:
Technical support:
• The majority of the role will initially consist of providing technical support
• Installation of their products and software upgrades at customers, focusing on the DACH、BENELUX、South Europe area
• Supporting remote and on-site troubleshooting for all customers
Services to be consider could include:
Technical training:
• Providing and maintaining technical training modules for our end-users -These modules can range from unpacking and installation to preventive maintenance and repair tasks
User training:
• Providing and maintaining user trainings for our end-users - These modules can range from first start-up training up to masterclasses
Service Engineer Ideal Candidate:
• Intermediate technical degree, affinity with mechanical, electrical and software components
• Minimum of 3 years relevant service and support experience selling in the technical industry
• Bring a demonstrated ability to grow our services activities
• Speak fluent English, in addition a second language is advantageous
• Strong presentation skills, in face-to-face, videoconference or webinar setup, familiar with social and digital medium
