A manufacturer is currently recruiting a Logistics Coordinator to work in their Ridderkerk office in the Netherlands.
You will be responsible for supporting all areas of the organization with an emphasis on distribution & logistics, ensuring timely receipt and shipment of products, and managing customer orders and forecasts.
The ideal candidate should have strong order management, logistics coordination, and customer service skills.

WORKING HOURS: 38 hours/week from Monday to Friday, flex working hours are available between 7:00-18:00

LOCATION: Ridderkerk, Netherlands
Logistics Coordinator Main Responsibilities:
● Handle spot and scheduled orders for customers
● Purchase goods based on customer demand and stock levels
● Troubleshoot shortages and delivery delays
● Oversee customer clearance and issue necessary documents
● Receive and validate incoming forecast sheets and schedules
● Ensure products are in the warehouse in the right quantity
● Perform stock checks and investigate discrepancies
● Conduct logistics cost checks to reduce fees
● Provide excellent customer service and advise on shipping methods
Logistics Coordinator Ideal Candidate:
● More than 2-5 years of experience in Logistics
● Essential skills or experience: Order management, Purchasing, Logistics coordination, Stock control
● Essential Knowledge: ERP systems
● Preferred/welcome skills or experience: Knowledge of freight cost optimization
● Business level fluency in English
● PC skills
● Good understanding of Japanese corporate culture would be appreciated
