We are a specialist recruitment agency with a strong focus on the Japanese market in Europe especially in the Netherlands, France, and Germany.
We are expanding our business in the Netherlands and Europe and looking for a young professional or recent graduate to work at our start-up office in Amsterdam-Zuid.
This is an exciting opportunity for those wanting to grow and learn within a supportive recruitment team and become a key member of the business going forward.
Applicants must be fluent in English and have language skills in either Germany, French, Dutch, or Japanese. Prior experience working in a Japanese company or living in Japan would be advantageous.
Training in our London HQ will be provided for the successful applicant.

Associate Recruitment Consultant Overview of duties:
• 360 Recruitment: Managing end-to-end recruitment cycle including sourcing, interview coordination, offer negotiation and placement
• Business Development: Identifying and developing new client/business relationships in the Netherlands and surrounding countries through networking events and business meetings with potential clients
• Account Management: Managing client relations through effective and professional communication
Associate Recruitment Consultant Daily activity:
• Assessing and responding to the needs of each client and assignment. Each client will have a different need, so it is important to understand exactly what is required
• Sourcing candidates – Daily searches across major job boards and other sourcing platforms to find the best possible talent for your client (this can take up a lot of your time!)
• Client relationship management – providing frequent updates to your client to maintain a smooth operation and establish a strong relationship
• Data inputting - Every vacancy, CV and correspondence is logged into a shared CRM system – data inputting and accuracy will be key
• Writing and amending job descriptions and posting jobs online
• Screening CVs and conducting video/phone interviews to assess suitability for the role
• Attending networking events to develop new business with potential clients
Associate Recruitment Consultant Ideal candidate:
• Totally fluent English is a must, and one of following language skill (Germany/French/Dutch/Japanese), at least B2 level would be an essential
• Degree holder or equivalent
• Motivation to build the career within recruitment field
• Some previous experience within a sales / account management / B2B customer service environment would be advantageous
• Professional exposure to Japanese business culture and Japanese language skill would be great as you will be liaising with Japanese clients and candidates on occasion
• An analytical & forward thinker, enthusiastic, and “can-do” attitude
• A friendly & thoughtful individual with strong communication skills
• Ability to work as a team rather than as an individual - as you will often be required to support colleagues in the course of your tasks
• Experience with Japanese culture is required (most of your colleagues will be Japanese)
COMPENSATION
Salary: €35,000-40,000 (1st year OTE), €40,000-50,000(2nd year+ OTE)
Benefit: Flexible allowance after 6 months (Medical, Gym, Dental, Massage etc), Transportation fee support
Working hours: Monday – Friday, 9:00-18:00 (Hybrid working style will be applicable after the training)
Place of Work: Amsterdam-Zuid
Contract length: First contract will be 6 months, but aim is for long-term employment
