A Japanese manufacturer currently recruiting a Country Manager in Poland.
In this role, you will be responsible for market research, business development, legal framework compliance, financing, location selection, human resources management, operational strategy, and compliance and risk management.
Frequent business travel all over in Poland is required.

TYPE: full-time

SALARY: up to €72k + OTE bonus (depending on experience)

LOCATION: full remote (Office based in Poland)

Country Manager Main Responsibilities:
● Analysing the target market, including the economic, political and cultural framework conditions
● Identification of competitors and potential customers
● Understanding of local laws and regulations relating to the establishment and operation of a branch
● Registration of the company and compliance with tax and labour laws
● Preparation of a detailed budget for the establishment and operation of the branch
● Selecting a suitable location that is strategically favourable and provides access to key markets and resources
● Consideration of factors such as infrastructure, logistics and quality of life
● Recruitment and training of local staff who understand the cultural and business realities
● Consideration of intercultural aspects and team dynamics
● Develop a clear business strategy that defines the branch's objectives and approach
● Establish sales and marketing strategies to reach the target audience
● Ensure compliance with all local regulations and standards
● Identifying and managing potential risks, including political, economic and operational risks

Country Manager Ideal Candidate:
● 3+ years’ B2B Sales experience in Poland in the automotive industry is essential
● Already resided in Poland
● Business level fluency both Polish and English
● Able to take business trip whenever necessary
● Communicative and strong social skills
● Accurate and able to take initiative
● Flexible attitude
● Good command of English in speaking and writing is required
● Loyalty, reliability, commitment, and flexibility
