A leading Japanese logistics company is currently recruiting an Accountants to join their office in Milan, Italy.
The role offers flexible working hours in the first year, with a clear path for career growth and a transition to a full-time position after the first year.

TYPE: Full-time
WORKING HOURS: 8:30-17:30 Monday to Friday
SALARY: First Year: €26,250 (6-hour working days, 5 days a week) or €26,250 (4 full-time days a week)
After 1 Year: €35,000 (full-time, 5 days a week)
LOCATION: Milan (onsite)

Main Responsibilities:

• Handle registration of invoices and bank transactions
• Perform account reconciliation and journal entries
• Manage fixed assets and prepare monthly reports
• Send intercompany statements
• Assist with ad-hoc accounting tasks and support the finance team

Ideal Candidate:
• Experience in accounts payable/receivable, banking transactions, journal entries, and fixed asset management
• Proficiency in Excel (basic functions required)
• Business-level proficiency in both English and Italian

Preferred Skills:
• Experience with accounting software (Exact)
• Accounting qualifications (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CIMA)
• Familiarity with data analysis tools (VBA, Power BI, Tableau)

Career Path:
The successful candidate will initially work closely with the current accounting manager and take on increasing responsibilities as they develop in the role. There is potential for career progression to an Accounting Manager position based on performance.
