A Japanese manufacturer in Almere is seeking a Sales Manager to drive business growth, develop client relationships, and manage relationships with existing clients.
The role requires strong commercial skills, a strategic mindset, and the ability to work in an international environment. The role requires you to have frequent business trips within Europe, approximately once a week. The company may consider sponsoring visas for especially well-suited candidates.

TYPE: 1 year contract, but the aim is long-term employment
WORKING HOURS: 9:00-17:30 (30 minutes lunch break)
SALARY: €55,000 - €80,000 incl. the holiday allowance per year, depending on experience

LOCATION: Almere (Hybrid, WFH 3 days a week possible after the training)

Sales Manager (Electronic Components) Main Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve business objectives
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders
• Identify new business opportunities and expand market presence
• Oversee the sales pipeline and manage key accounts
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and market analysis
• Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements
• Represent the company at industry events and trade shows
• Report to Senior Sales Manager

Sales Manager (Electronic Components) Ideal Candidate:
• 3+ years of experience in a sales or business development role, preferably in manufacturing or B2B sales
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Fluent in English (Japanese or other European language is a plus)
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, or a related field
• Ability to develop long-term relationships with clients
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and CRM systems
• Goal-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently
