A growing Japanese machinery company in the Netherlands is currently recruiting for aa Dutch-speaking Financial Controller for their office in Lelystad.
The ideal candidate should have at minimum 3 years’ work experience in a similar position, and fluency in Dutch and English.

TYPE : 1 year contract to be Permanent, full-time
WORKING HOURS : 9:00-17:30 from Monday to Friday (40 hours per week)
SALARY : €2,800-€3,600 gross/month (depending on experience)
START : ASAP
LOCATION : Lelystad, the Netherlands (Almere till July 2025)

Dutch-speaking Financial Controller Responsibilities:
• Analyse and report(issues) related to (monthly/periodic) Profit and Loss statement as well as the balance sheet
• Focus on Cash flow / working Capital / Cost of Capital
• Support other Financial and Non-Financial reporting requirements
• Initiate improvements with regards to reporting and analysis
• Assist with general finance activities when needed
• Act as replacement when team F&A members are absent
• Active participation and input in F&A projects
• In collaboration with the manager Finance responsible for the annual report under Dutch GAAP as well as the J-Sox package
• Support financial input for KCME’s budget cycle
• Support in VAT, CBS, corporate tax and other tax filings within the EU
• Travel regularly to the branches and subsidiaries. Travel is maximum 10% of the total job time
• Reporting with Power BI
• Financial statements analysis for (potential) dealers

Skill requirements for the Dutch-speaking Financial Controller are:
• 3+ years’ work experience in preferably a similar finance position
• Language: fluent in Dutch and English
• Discrete and confidential attitude and behaviour
• Excellent communication skills, accurate with numbers
