A global Japanese manufacturer based near Frankfurt is seeking Logistics and Import/Export Support Staff to join their small yet international team. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dynamic office environment that values teamwork.
TYPE: Contract, full-time (1 year contract (TBC), maternity cover) *potentially extended
WORKING HOURS: Mon–Thu 8:00–17:00 (1-hour lunch), Fri 8:00–13:30, 37.5 hours per week
SALARY: €3,600—€4,000 gross including transportation fee × 12 months + 13th month bonus + variable bonus depending on personal and company performance
(Depending on career and experience)
START: ASAP (ideally from November 2025)
LOCATION: near Frankfurt (home office up to 2 days per month)
BENEFIT: 30 days annual leave
Logistics Coordinator Main Responsibilities:
• Dealing with logistics and import / export process management
• Order management (processing orders, inputting data into internal systems, issuing shipping instructions)
• Coordination with distributors, warehouses, and ocean forwarders; arranging transport (road, sea)
• Supporting import/export documentation
• Inventory management
• Delivery schedule management and communication with dealers and headquarters
• Handling defective products, returns, and customer claims
Logistics Coordinator Ideal Candidate:
• Experience in logistics or supply chain operations (import/export experience preferred)
• Business-level English skills required
• Basic knowledge of transport and trade documentation (Incoterms, customs processes, etc.)
• Japanese and German language skills will be advantageous
• A team player who can adapt flexibly to tasks and proactively seek process improvements
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
