An international trading company based in the Rotterdam area is looking for a Dutch-speaking Account Manager to join their team.
You will manage end-to-end cross-border trading, from market research and sourcing to contract execution and logistics, while working closely with global partners.
The company offers a highly international environment (25+ nationalities) with regular social events, including weekly Friday drinks, monthly activities, quarterly excursions, and a well-known Christmas party.
TYPE: Full-time, initially 1-year contract (with the intention to move into a permanent contract in the future)
WORKING HOURS: 09:00-18:00 including 1 hour lunch break
SALARY: €3,000-€3,500 /month (depending on experience) + good performance bonus
+ Holiday allowance
BENEFIT: 25 days annual leave (+1 for birthday), Commuting allowance, Free Lunch everyday (cooked by a chef), Pension (8%), Subsidised gym membership,

LOCATION: Rotterdam area (office-based position)
Dutch-speaking Account Manager Responsibilities:
• Manage the full A–Z wholesale trading cycle within assigned markets
• Source and develop leads, building a strong pipeline in Benelux markets
• Analyse market trends and match supply and demand across regions
• Negotiate commercial terms and close profitable, sustainable deals
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and suppliers
• Coordinate closely with Logistics and Finance teams to ensure smooth deal execution
• Follow up proactively on leads and work towards achieving targets
Dutch Speaking Account Manager Ideal Candidate:
• Fluent in English and Dutch
• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field
• 2+ years in trading, supply chain, or B2B sales
• Independent, proactive, and ownership-driven
• Excellent communication with global partners
• Proficient in Excel; ERP experience a plus
• Knowledge of Incoterms and trade documentation
• Adaptable to fast-paced, multicultural settings
