Well-established Japanese manufacturer is currently looking to recruit a Junior Account Manager at their Düsseldorf office. This role is ideal for someone who is willing to build or continue a career in sales at automotive industry, and who is a team player with a flexible attitude.
Fluency in written and spoken English and German is required for this role.
TYPE: Permanent, full-time
WORKING HOURS: Monday - Friday from 8.30 am to 5 pm
SALARY: up to €60k including 13th month bonus depending on experience (gross)
START: ASAP
LOCATION: Düsseldorf, Germany (office based)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Acquisition of new projects among existing German based customers (OEM)
• Manage customers and cater customer needs
• Budget planning and creation of forecasts
• Project management -> meeting deadlines and customer targets
• Manage and accompany release customer processes
• Bridge between R&D Division in Japan, Engineers in Germany and clients
• Support of customer claims and complaints
• Secure and support timely delivery of urgent parts (prototype parts etc.)
IDEAL CANDIDATE:
• Language: Fluent in German and English (Required)
• At least 1-2 years’ experience of B2B sales within the manufacturer
• Technical background is advanced
• Ability to explain and sell technical and complex products
• Motivation of selling automotive parts
• Ability to persist in challenging environment
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Driver’s license (preferable)
