A branch of a well-known Japanese global trading company is currently seeking to recruit a Sales Assistant in their Textiles Department based in Milan, Italy
The role involves supporting sales and marketing, arranging shipments, coordinating logistics, processing shipping documents and processing accounts data.
Salary: EUR28,000 to EUR30,000 per annum dependant on experience. Discretionary annual performance-related bonus. Overtime payable as per the requirements of the role.

Hours of Work: 9:00 – 17:30 (please note that overtime hours may be required as are reasonably necessary for the proper performance of the duties)
Main Responsibilities:
• Coordinating importing and exporting processes
• Administration of all end-to-end documents, including sales notes, purchase orders, packing lists and invoices
• Data entry into SAP
• Monitoring credit control and ensuring customer payments are received on time
• Monitoring credit limits and ensuring that limits are not exceeded
• Monitoring FOREX booking balance
• Ad hoc administration duties as required
Ideal Candidate:
• Fluent Italian and English (written and verbal)
• Minimum 5 years’ experience of import/export and logistics
• Excellent attention to detail
• Excellent customer service skills
• Cooperative, flexible and “can do” attitude
• Accurate and proven numerical skill
• Good computer skills – Outlook/Email, Excel and Word
• Good time and task management, ability to work to tight deadlines
• Ability to work in a cross-cultural environment
