An exciting opportunity has arisen at an international health drinks company for someone who has scientific interest, or holds degree in nutrition, microbiology, or Chemistry etc. The company is looking for a dedicated professional in the healthcare/medical industry from a strong scientific background. Reporting and assisting directly to the Science Director, you will be responsible for increasing and maintaining awareness and understanding of cutting-edge research on the company’s product range among leading healthcare professionals (HCPs).
For the right person, the company is willing to sponsor a work permit in The Netherlands.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Administration:
• Follow up the reporting of ongoing and future clinical trials with the product in Europe
• Maintain contact with the Central Research Institute and International Business Department in Japan and the Research Centre in Europe in English and Japanese language
• Preparing practical aspects of scientific meetings (conferences, webinars, round table discussions, etc) both for staff and invited experts / guests
• Assist the science team in administrative tasks related to the day-to-day activities

Support literature management:
• Together with the documentation specialist maintain an internal SharePoint-based content management system for the storage of relevant scientific information
• Assist the delivery to all European Science departments of selected content, useful for translation for their local communication objectives, whether to health care professionals, interested consumers or journalists / health writers
• Assist in the management of the quality control of external communication materials of the Gorup in Europe (manage and optimise the VISA procedure)

Communication:
• Assist the science director in the interactions with professional organisations (IPA, ILSI, PRI, LABIP, ENLP, …)
• Management of the science relations database in line with GDPR requirements and company interests
• Identify opportunities for closer and more effective communication across different European Science departments, as well as communication with PR and marketing departments

IDEAL CANDIDATE:
• At least 5 years of relevant work experience in administration
• Excellent software MS office skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, etc.)
• Business level fluency in Japanese and English
• Dutch language skill would be advantageous
• Excellent team player, able of linking the Science, Marketing and PR & CC departments
• Good at planning and strict in project execution
• Willingness to learn new technologies and data content management systems
• Proven scientific interest in health-related topics (nutrition, microbiota, academic contact management, etc.)
