A growing Japanese car-related company based in Germany is currently expanding their international operations into markets in Europe. They require a passionate German & English-speaking sales representative (Key Account Manager) to join their busy, growing team. This role will suit someone who enjoys creating and developing good relationships with clients.
TYPE: Permanent, full time
LOCATION: Dusseldorf, Germany
SALARY: Up to €70k depending on experience (can be negotiable)
START: ASAP (negotiable)
CORE DUTIES
-Project management of running projects with key customers
-Follow up existing customers inquires
-Follow up new customers inquires
-Regular customer visits to discuss ongoing projects or to promote new project opportunities
-Market/Technology/Competitor analysis
-Overall monitoring of project and account related business/sales status
-Planning of sales promotion activities
-Involvement and problem solving in daily operation like delivery issue/claims etc.
-Reporting sales/project status to related departments in Japan
IDEAL APPLICANT
- Business level of fluency in German and English both speaking & writing
- Japanese language skill is a big bonus but not an essential
- IT skills: Excel, PPT, Sales Force
- Experience in electronics or electronic components or similar industry
- Experience in connector related will be advantageous, but not an essential
- Marketing knowledge: advertising, result analysis methods
- Document management: basic understanding of ISO 9001
- Some understanding of Japanese culture and Japanese language would be advantageous
