A Japanese global logistics company is currently recruiting an Accounts Receivable Coordinator to join their office near Amsterdam.
The Accounts Receivable Coordinator is responsible for credit control, monthly closing support, and coordination with other offices in the Netherlands and other regions

TYPE: 12 month contract, full-time (There is potential to become permanent)
WORKING HOURS: Monday to Friday, flexible, Core times 9:00 – 16:30 (8 hours + 30 minutes break)
SALARY: €3,000 – 3,500 per month, depending on experience, plus good benefits
LOCATION: Amsterdam, The Netherlands (Currently 3 days in the office, 2 days’ work from home after training – this may change depending on the company’s decision.)

Accounts Receivable Coordinator MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

Operational Tasks
• Credit control
• Keep track of shipment payments and quotas
• Monthly closing Accounts Receivable in time
• Daily booking and reconciliation of bank statements in the bank system
• Keep in contact with IC office by e-mail and telephone

External responsibilities (Clients and Partners)
• Responsible for the maintenance of contacts with customers
• Control of Accounts Receivable and other third-party payment companies
• Creating Accounts Receivable reports on a weekly basis.
• Clean (up to date) sub ledger Accounts Receivable

Internal Responsibilities (Local and Regional)
• On time payment or collecting from IC offices
• Check payments to and from the IC offices with the administration
• Clean (up to date) sub ledger AR and AP for IC offices
• On time registration of payments and receivables including IC offices in the administration
• Keep in contact with the IC office by e-mail and telephone
• Book payments and receivables including IC offices in the administration

Accounts Receivable Coordinator IDEAL CANDIDATE:
• At least three years of experience on accounting, preferable in logistics
• Business level of fluency in English (Business level Dutch advantageous)
• Strong organizational and planning skills
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Excellent time management skills
