One of the world’s leading Japanese manufacturers of POS products is currently recruiting a Sales Manager & Sales Executive in Germany.
This is a great opportunity to drive the sales into one of their largest potential sales regions in Europe which has plenty of scope to increase revenue in the future.
In this role you will be responsible for maintaining and expanding relationships with distributors, system integrators, software developers (ISV’s), resellers and end users as well as achieving the sales, profitability, and partner recruitment objectives.
You will help create new programs and incentives to grow partner ecosystems in the region that meet the needs of partners and end users. Previous experience of the POS market would be advantageous.

SALARY:
- Sales Manager level: Basic up to €91k + Commission up to €39k
- Sales Executive: Basic up to €54k + Commission up to €36k
BENEFITS: 28days Paid holiday, Car allowance (€700-800 per month) and others

Main Responsibilities:
• Establish productive, professional relationships with key personnel in distributors, system integrators, ISV’s, resellers, and end users
• Value added solution selling as a trusted advisor
• Proactively assess, clarify, and validate partner needs to be successful on an ongoing basis
• Increasing new sales by influencing the whole sales channel i.e. by direct approach to distributors, system integrators, ISV’s, resellers, and end users (this would take the form of targeted visits to identified large potential customers)
• Build a strong partner pipeline through account and field mapping of partners
• Setting business plans with each distributor / system integrator / dealer / ISV and working closely with them to ensure that they achieve the plan set
• Monitor performance of partners
• Identifying new possible areas for growth and implementing plans to realise this growth
• Detailing all contact with partners/customers on the companies CRM system (currently Salesforce)
• Analysing the success of the region and identifying the correct process to increase sales in the future
• Working closely with their marketing to maximise the effective use of the co-operative budget in developing sales with each distributor / reseller
• Attend trade shows where their distributors or exhibits
• Self-motivated with the ability to work without close supervision
• Monthly feedback and updates via presentation at Sales Meeting either face to face or via video conferencing
• Maintain funnel, forecast, and opportunity pipeline
• Achieves assigned sales quota for the territory

Ideal Candidate:
• Prior experience in a similar role with a strong focus on indirect sales and channel development selling through a distribution model
• Fluent in German and English
• Ability to speak other languages is a plus
• Strong influencer and persuasive with internal and external contacts
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to be able to interact with technical and business counterparts within and outside of the company
• PC skills (Microsoft Office)
• Willing to travel regularly within the region
• Sales Manager level will be expected to lead a team and execute while developing strategies and building action plans
