An international manufacturer of semiconductor machinery seeks an Account Manager to join their growing operation in Germany.
The role will focus on selling semiconductor equipment mainly to wafer processing companies.
Account Manager will also oversee developing new business, especially in SiC wafer business in Germany and Italy.
As the products are already used in various companies, this role would be suited to those experienced with semiconductor machinery companies and both new business development and maintaining good relationships with existing clients.
On a case-by-case basis, you will be required to visit clients.

WORKING HOURS : 8:00-16:30 (lunch 30 minutes)

Account Manager Core Duties:
New business development
• Your primary role will be to prospect for new clients by networking, cold calling, driving their distribution network, attending fairs or other means of generating interest from potential clients, to create a robust pipeline of opportunities, to secure new orders and to increase business, mainly in Germany
• You will be planning persuasive approaches and pitches that will convince potential clients to do business with them
• You will be responsible to meet the European sales target in terms of number of units, revenue and profitability
Sales strategy development, sales planning and execution
• Strategic planning is a key part of this role since it is the Account Manager’s responsibility to develop the pipeline of new business coming into the company
• You will contribute to the development of their sales plan for the coming years and its execution in collaboration with the other sales member, their distributors and the overseas sales division
Client retention and growth
• You will also be required to grow and retain existing accounts by listening to the feedback of customers and interface with our product development team
• In collaboration with our distributors, you will be nurturing the existing relationships with key customers to develop local ambassadors
Ideal Candidate:
• 3+ years relevant sales experience selling semiconductor manufacturing equipment
• University degree or equivalent formal education in business or marketing would be welcomed
• Fluent in English and native level of German language is required
• Japanese language skill is advantageous
