Finance Manager - Munich
A Japanese company engaged in various building management businesses is currently recruiting a Finance Manager in Munich, in Germany.
An ideal candidate should have native level of German and fluent in English and professional experience in the field of financial management; especially analysing financial reports either in Germany, or in Japan.
This role is mostly working from home but some travel may be required within Germany.
TYPE: Permanent, full-time
WORKING HOURS: 40 hours per week (core time:9:00-16:00), flexible work will be available
SALARY: TBC
START: ASAP (by 1st June 2024 or earlier)
LOCATION: Munich, Germany (Mostly work from home)
Finance Manager Main Responsibilities:
For invested company/companies (90%)
• Update, analyse, summarise and report financial accounting, monitor and control mechanisms according to the German standards for all financial systems for its invested company(/ies) to the Shareholders and to the CEOs of the company(/ies)
• Building a good relationship with invested company and shareholders to collect information
Ad hoc supporting duties (10%)
• Assist the CEOs in payment, disbursement procedures and travel arrangements
• Arrange and support auditors for the company
• Assist the CEOs in the preparation of budgets for the regular functioning of the Secretariat and associated special projects
• Liaise with service providers for all infrastructure, equipment, and maintenance requirements for the company
• Assist with preparations of meetings and workshops
• Perform other duties as assigned
Finance Manager Ideal Candidate:
• Business communication skills both in German (native level) and in English
• Professional experience in the field of financial management either in Germany, or in Japan
• Analysing financial reports OR financial auditing experience is required
• Computer literate in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams) and other financial software packages
• Preferably live either in Munich area
