A Japanese self-care products manufacturer is seeking an Accountant.
The role is based in their Düsseldorf office with the purpose of expanding their business throughout Europe and other countries.
Candidates must be able to speak business level Japanese and English. German language proficiency will be beneficial.

TYPE: Full-time role
WORKING HOURS: 9:00 – 18:00, Monday to Friday
SALARY: up to €40K year

Accountant Main Responsibilities:
• Reviews and processes expenses and invoices; contacts vendors to resolve issues/discrepancies
• Support audit by maintaining files for all projects with appropriate documents including job cost tool, customer purchase order, vendor invoice(s), and customer invoice(s), in accordance with standard procedures
• Develop and maintain relationships with all teams in the accounting and finance organizations, assisting with any complex or unusual accounting items as they occur
• Attend and report at meetings with Japan HQ few times each month

Accountant Ideal Candidate:
• 3 years of experience in public accounting or industry accounting
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Good and friendly communication
• Self and Team-motivated mind
• Business level of English and Japanese
• German and any other languages are advantageous
