An exciting opportunity has arisen from a fast-growing financial institute in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
As a Japanese-speaking Relationship Manager in their Corporate Banking Division, you will be responsible for representing them and communicating with customers (existing and potential) with a view to explore and develop business.
TYPE: 1 year contract to start (to become permanent)
WORKING HOURS: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours a week (Hybrid – 3days in the office)
SALARY: €50-69k depending on experiences + GOOD Benefits
START: ASAP (negotiable)
LOCATION: Amsterdam, Netherlands
VISA: The company can provide visa support for the right candidate
Relationship Manager Responsibility:
• Representing the company and communicating with customers (existing and potential) with a view to explore and develop business
• Grasping deposit taking and lending opportunities through direct contact with existing and potential customers
• Checking deposit and lending related documents and contracts, and carrying out negotiations with internal legal related team and/or external lawyers and/or customers
• Creating necessary materials for credit analysis and its strategy working with parent bank relevant division
• Producing reports and presentation materials, including business and deposit/lending related documents, to their management and the parent bank
• Maintaining and updating relevant internal policy & procedures
• Executing such other duties related to the Corporate Banking Div. as the Bank management may from time-to-time reasonably require
• Coordinating and conducting liaison activities with the parent bank with regards to the above mentioned responsibilities
Relationship Manager Ideal Candidate:
• Ideally a relevant graduate’s degree holder
• 3 to 5 years’ work experience in the corporate banking business for Japanese companies
• Business level of fluency in both English and Japanese (equivalently JLPT N2 or above)
• Team player, good communication skills and are detail-oriented
• Enjoy working in an international setting
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
