An international healthcare product manufacturer based in Amstelveen has an exciting opportunity for a Supply Chain Specialist to join their international team.
In this role, you will be responsible for analysing and optimizing the entire supply chain, providing valuable insights, and implementing necessary changes in close collaboration with the Supply Chain Manager.
TYPE: Full-time role, initially 1 year contract (potential to be extended)
WORKING HOURS: 37.5 hours per week
SALARY: TBD
LOCATION: Amstelveen, The Netherlands (Hybrid working style)

Supply Chain Specialist Responsibilities:
• Analysing the end-to-end supply chain, from inbound to dealer delivery, including warehouse and distribution operations, logistics information systems, and purchasing
• Leading annual process reviews at our logistics warehouse supplier to ensure continuous improvement
• Collaborate across functions to interpret business requirements and translate them into effective logistics processes
• Optimizing storage efficiency, including pick, pack and value-added services
• Prepare budgets for storage, transportation and purchase of consumables, and monitor budget progress in collaboration with the Supply Chain Manager
• Develop and manage bid documents (RFI/RFQ) to ensure the best possible selection
• Perform analysis of bid documents, summarize results and present to stakeholders
• Purchase products and services, not limited to supply chain related items, but also kit accessories, instruction manuals and more
• Identify risks and implement measures to mitigate potential risks
Supply Chain Specialist Ideal Candidate:
• 3-5 years of practical experience in Supply Chain
• Fluent in Dutch and English, with proficiency in other languages desirable
• Strong negotiation skills, able to collaborate effectively with suppliers
