An international healthcare product manufacturer based in Amstelveen has an exciting opportunity for an ICT Engineer to join their international team.
In this role, you will be responsible for technical assistance to the Senior Manager and their team. They will work closely with the team to maintain, manage, and improve the company's IT infrastructure and security, as well as assisting in the coordination and implementation of IT projects.

ICT Engineer Main Responsibilities:
• Provide technical assistance to internal users together with the team
• Promote utilizing group IT Security measures such as network (WAN, Internet, Intranet), global AD domain, group standard PC, group standard servers, collaboration/communication platform, etc. in the company and European subsidiaries for optimization
• Assist in the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and rules for security protection
• Provide incident response during emergencies
• Provide service to all users in the company
• Assist in the coordination and implementation of IT projects
• Deploy, maintain, and operate global IT security (software) measures and procedures for the company


ICT Engineer Ideal Candidate:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Management or related field
• Experience in providing technical assistance in an IT environment (Networking, WAN, Internet, VPN, Datacenter)
• Knowledge of security protection
• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure technologies and tools, such as Microsoft 365, AWS, Azure, SD-WAN, LAN, Windows Server/PC
• Experience in deploying, maintaining, and operating global IT security measures and procedures.
• Business level of fluency in English, other languages desirable
• Ability to communicate with people at all levels
• Ability to define, plan, and work according to priorities and deadlines
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify and address IT risks and vulnerabilities
• Proactive approach to high quality customer service delivery, through empathising, anticipating customer needs and exceeding customer expectations
• Approaches problem solving creatively, analytically, and systematically to reach optimal solutions.
