A Japanese company providing industrial machinery and equipment is currently recruiting for a Mechanical Service Engineer to join their expanding team in Budapest.
The Mechanical Service Engineer will focus on installation and maintenance of industrial machinery in the automotive, electronics and battery equipment industry in the central European market.
You will be responsible for maintaining and nurturing relationships with existing clients, ensuring that they are satisfied with the company's products and services.

TYPE: Full-time, Permanent
WORKING HOURS: 08:30 - 17:00 (Monday- Friday) (including 1 hour lunch break)
SALARY: 1.2 million Hungarian forint/ month + 42k Hungarian forint (cafeteria benefits / month (performance bonus of 1-2 months will be applicable from 2nd year)
START: ASAP
LOCATION: Budapest, Hungary (Currently 1 day/week work from home is available – this may change depending on the company’s decision.)

Mechanical Service Engineer Main Responsibilities:
• Install new mechanical equipment or machinery
• Ensure the equipment or machinery are correctly set up and functioning properly after installation
• Work closely with sales staff to provide support during on-site machinery installations, ensuring clients receive full assistance in the setup and operational stages
• Provide technical advice and support, helping clients understand the functionality, maintenance, and capabilities of the equipment being offered
• Act as the liaison between the client and internal and supplier teams to resolve any issues with products or services, ensuring a smooth resolution process


Sales Engineer/ Sales Executive Ideal Candidate:

• Minimum 3-5 years of Mechanical Service Engineer experience within manufacturer
• Business level fluency in English and Hungarian
• Mechanical Engineering background
• Willingness to travel within Hungary and other middle European countries
• The ideal candidate should have strong interpersonal skills and a client-focused mindset
• Understanding of Japanese corporate culture or language is advantageous
