The headquarters of Japanese global logistics company is looking for an engaging and delivery-focused HR Administrator and Recruitment professional in their HR department.
On top of the focus and recruitment, you will have a diverse range of HR related administrative challenges in a very dynamic, fast-moving company. You will work closely with their HR team and clients -internal and external- to provide day to day support. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking to take the next step in their HR career or who has recently graduated from university with a HR related degree as you will gain excellent exposure to the full range of generalist HR.

LOCATION: The Netherlands
HR ADMINISTRATOR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
• New starters and leavers and administration
• Generating contract variation letters from templates and as directed, drafting letters for colleagues
• Leading several projects, for example the transition from ‘’old school’’ filing to paperless working
• Absence recording and reporting
• Payroll assistance and preparation
• HR filing and providing support on the formalization of SOP(s) and/or audit compliance
• Responding to everyday queries from clients and supporting our department on a wide range of basic employment law and best practice HR. (statutory rights, processes, and procedures, holiday, and maternity calculations, etc….)
• Supporting with a range of employee relation cases including preparing letters, note taking and documentation, (disciplinary, capability, absence management and grievances).
• Preparing policies, including drafting staff handbooks, which reflect or develop the organisational culture, while simultaneously keeping in check with latest legislation and best practice
• Preparing procedures and guidance documents for a range of HR subjects
• Managing and (if necessary) improving HR software internally, as well as tailoring, setting up and implementation of unused functionalities
• Attending scoping meetings to capture requirements and create SOPs and processes for new accounts to reflect the agreed processes
• To work with the HR team to research and draft HR interventions to meet our clients’ needs
IDEAL CANDIDATE FOR HR ADMINISTRATOR:
• Practical experience of working in a Recruitment or generalist HR role – with a more than solid understanding of employment practices and basic employment legislation
• Able to work on own initiative
• Customer and employee centric approach
• Methodical and organised
• Ability to work quickly and manage competing priorities
• Highly numerate and able to calculate, check or understand and assist on all Payroll related tasks
• Experience of working with confidential information
• Pragmatic problem-solving ability
• Flexible and willing to learn
• Business level of fluency in English
